Bon Dance (Odori) - Bon Dance (Odori): This is perhaps the most famous traditional dance in Japan generally performs in summer festivals. Meaning of word Bon is welcoming and conducting memorial service for ancestor's souls. Apart from trained dancers, others are also taking part of the dance, as you can see in this photo. This particular festival annually perfumes in Tsudanuma city, about 25 km east to Tokyo. The Bon festivals are held in August and they indicate Japan's ability to enhance its traditions with the hi-tech path of the country.
