Volcano

Indonesia’s one of the most violent volcanoes, Mt. Merapi is rumbling again, and volcano scientists say a major eruption is eminent. Authorities have ordered a full evacuation from the surrounding high-risk zone. Scientists have recorded about 27 tremors from the 3000m high volcano, which is a clear sing of a preparations for an eruption. Presently, the volcano is releasing hot air with black smoke and lava. Already thousands of people have evacuated but some are reluctant. In 1930, the deadliest blast in record killed about 1,300 people, and again 60 killed in 1994. This photo taken from space station shows smoking Merapi, when it had an eruption in August 2003.
